| developing a working relationship with a dealer you trust can be worthwhile, ergo There is a Nissan dealership within walking distance of my house. The parts manager drives a red 300ZX TT like mine, and gives me the best prices I have been able to find on OEM parts, well below list. The only mechanic I let work on my car there has owned two TT's himself. I generally don't let them do diagnostics, but tell them exactly what I want them to do based on my own research. In other words, I don't tell them "my car is running rough" but I would tell them "injector #4 needs to be replaced and can be Dremmel'd out." Don't look at it as the dealer being intrinsically bad or good, but look for specific persons you can trust.
